WATCH IN HD! Classic Game Room HD reviews SUB CHASE! for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game console from 1978. This game is a 2 player game that reminds Classic Game Room of Air Sea Battle for the Atari 2600, but it's not, IT'S SUB CHASE! You are chasing submarines and blowing them up while avoiding the neutral ships... GET IT!??? One player plays as the submarine (the Shark) and the other as an airplane (the Hawk!). It is a fun game and really old school.. so old school that school wasn't even invented yet (that's made up). Sub Chase comes on the same game cartridge as Armored Encounter, also reviewed by the Classic Game Room retro gaming review show. Two semi-awesome games on one cart, can't beat that! Classic Game Room is the only retro reviewer making Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game reviews in High Definition. Take that.... PS3 and 360! The Maggie O2 (or Videopace G7000 in Europe) now has reviews on the same level as your fancy new HD games... oh yeah, Sub Chase in HD clarity! You can see all the details on the sub like the four pixels that make it. Is that a flag or periscope?

CNET editors' rating: 3.5 stars
Very good
The good:
Incredible amount of features and connection options; very impressive aesthetic quality; looks great with games and normal office tasks.
The bad:
Very expensive even for a 30-inch model with so many features; color performance with movies was extremely lacking; no built-in sound; no coaxial connection for an HDTV over-the-air antenna.
The bottom line:
If you're willing to pay the price for beautiful looks and loads of connection options in a 30-inch LCD monitor, you'll like what you get with the Dell 3008WFP. You may be less enthused with this display, however, after experiencing its lackluster color performance and low black levels when watching movies.

Classic Game Room HD reviews ARMORED ENCOUNTER! for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game console from 1978! This game is basically the Magnavox version of Atari's Combat. Except without the nifty airplanes and invisible tanks. It shares a game cartridge with Sub Chase! (which is the better of the 2 games) and plays on your Magnavox O2 or Philips Videopac G-7000 if you live in Europe. This is a game of tank warfare, one on one, where you try and destroy your opponent's tank with brutal, unrelenting force. Destroy it with guided missiles, landmines and straight up gangsta' style tank cannon fire! Booya! Send your friend's tank to the tank scrapyard with this intense game of Combat... but it isn't Combat. Combat was for the Atari 2600. This is for Magnavox! Classic Game Room is the ultimate retro video game reviewer this side of the 9th moon of Endorx. The flying bird people f Xzongar-7 said "Classic Game Room is the best game reviewer on YouTube", and the half-panda, half mer-maid fish cyborgs from Canada agree! Classic Game Room is the best reviewer or PS3 and Xbox 360 and Wii games according to 3 out of 4 splinter cells in purgatory. That's amazing! Retro reviews, good times and brand new video game footage. Classic Game Room delivers! Enjoy this review of Armored Encounter responsibly.

Video of the Insignia 720p HD Camcorder. This was shot in the "HD" mode outside in overcast conditions around 10am. Very good quality outside.

Classic Game Room HD buys a SUPER NINTENDO video game console! Can you believe it? A used SNES is now in the possession of the world's most powerful video game review show, CLASSIC SNES OWNING GAME ROOM! Now we can review all of the classics except with a "super" in front of them, like "SUPER Metroid" and "SUPER Star Wars". This console purchase was overshadowed by our recent adventure to buy a Sega Saturn, and we were excited to find a SNES at the same store for $40 with controller and power supply and wires etc... We turned it on, it works. Plays well except the game seems a bit wobbly in there. Classic Game Room reviews video games from years past and the future, although don't call us retro reviews, because we are permanently stuck in the '80s which isn't retro, it's now. We're now reviewers. We review games now. Not then, you just missed it. It's now. The SNES joins the Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis, Mega Drive MD , Sega CD, 32x, Playstation 1, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Entertainment System NES, N64 and Magnavox Odyssey 2 consoles for the awesome CGRHD show!

The good: Relatively accurate color temperature after calibration; solid standard-definition processing; numerous picture controls; sleek, attractive styling with hidden speakers; plenty of connectivity with three HDMI and one PC input.
The bad: Reproduces a lighter shade of black; less accurate primary colors and color decoding; softer images with PC sources.
The bottom line: While blessed with a stylish, understated look and plenty of features, the LG 50PG30's picture quality falls a bit short of other 1080p plasma TVs.

Classic Game Room HD reviews COSMIC CONFLICT for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game console. The O2 was called the Philips Videopac G7000 in Europe and Cosmic Conflict is called awesome everywhere. Back in 1978 after watching Star Wars before it was destroyed and Battlestar Galactica when Faceman from the A-Team was on it, you could play Cosmic Conflict and be blown away by flying through space and shooting 15 enemy space ships! No more.. no less, 15. 16 is right out. Earn the rank of Commodore 64 or be fired in disgrace, Cosmic Conflict may not be terribly exciting to look at today but this game is an amazing piece of history. It is similar to STAR SHIP on the Atari 2600 except without a moving starfield or oat cluster shaped asteroids. The viewscreen resembles the view you'd get in FPT first person shooter today and the space ships look like Lego TIE Fighters. Anyway, if you collect Magnavox Odyssey 2 games this is one you should play if, for no other reason, you can be promoted to Commodore 64. Classic Game Room is the ultra hyper retro gaming review show. If you like old school video games and retro reviews then you should be watching Classic Game Room... or playing Cosmic Conflict!
