This is Joanna Newsome from San Francisco California performing "The Book Of Right-On" on Later With Jools Holland. Joanna is definitely one of the most unusual and unique artists you will ever hear. Definitely an acquired taste, but one well worth acquiring!

Jools has great taste in music and each show runs the gamut from pop, rock, folk, Celtic, African, to Joanna Newsome. Something for everyone. Suffice to say I love this show.

This is James Morrison's first ever appearance on the BBC on "Later With Jools Holland". Does he appear nervous? Not in the least. With a voice as good as his insecurity is probably never an issue. And with a tune this good why worry?

This clip features KT Tunstall working her live magic on "Later With Jools Holland". This tune is from her excellent "Drastic Fantastic" CD and "Saving My Face" is my favorite song from that album. Though I should add that if KT has written a bad song I haven't heard it yet...

This is a stellar live performance of the song "Railroad Man" by the Eels on "Later With Jools Holland". A great tune about being old and obsolete but still possessing common sense. This comes from the excellent "Blinking Lights and Other Revelations" CD, one of the best double albums ever recorded. I never thought E could top the Shootenanny CD, but he did.

This is KT Tunstall covering the Bob Dylan tune "Tangled Up In Blue" on "Later With Jools Holland". It takes a great singer to really do justice to Dylan, yet KT goes well beyond that and makes this her own. She's just that good live.

This is a young KT Tunstall performing "Black Horse And The Cherry Tree" on "Later With Jools Holland". This was her debut performance on Jools and definitely opened a lot of eyes and ears. Look at the faces of the other performers on the show that day, people seemed pretty amazed how big a sound one wee Scottish lass could make.
This clip has been on YT for over a year hosted by another and has been viewed over half a million times. Impressive. My version is slightly better quality, both audio and video wise. Hopefully it will convince people to buy tickets to see KT live this summer, she is one of the most amazing live performers out there and should not been missed. Tell your grandchildren one day that you saw her live...

This is an outstanding live performance of "Jesus Etc." by Wilco which recently aired on the excellent all HD commercial free cable channel RAVE-HD.
This song, from their "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" album, is a favorite of mine and this version is just about as good as it gets. I discovered Wilco with YHF and after playing it every day for a year on my iPod, in my car and at work I bought all their previous albums beginning with Summer Teeth and working backwards. Sky Blue Sky came out and I bought that too.
Have Wilco ever made a bad album? Not that I've heard...
