I was at my friends house 1 day, playing Halo 3 on his 47'' Vizio HDTV and we decided to quit for a lil while and go ride the fourwheeler. So we went down to a area in the woods with a little bit of mud, not much but we weren't doing anything til' we just decided to drive in a mudhole and see what we could do to it. so i did that but the picture will not come up. it says on the computer screen that there is no signal. but i plug my pc up to this monitor and it works. what do i need to do?
If your PC is old, you will need to reboot the PC while it is connected to the TV - and the TV is on. It needs to read the resolutions supported by your TV.
now im one of many that have all consols, which the 32" vizio hd tv is mounted on what use to be a microwave stand to display in a store

I need to make a decision on whether to get a Toshiba or Vizio HDTV.

A need to replace a tv in a room that will only work with a console tv has inspired This project. for christmas 08 I will be replaceing a 1985 zenith system 3 tv with a new custom 37 inch console.
The tv is held in with clamps and can be removed and replaced if needed Cabinet is made to match coffee table and end tables perfectly and is solid oak and oak plywood.

I want to hook mmy laptop up to my 32 in vizio hdtv plasma tv. I have a VGA cable and I have it hooked up but I dont know how to actual get it onto the television. please help
on your laptop you might have to change your settings. some laptops u have to do Function and f4 or f8. that will make your laptop screen black but you will still have to change your setting on your tv too. hope this helps

In order for PIP to work,you need 2 tuners whether in your tv or not. If you don't have 2 tuners in your tv then you can use a VCR tuner as your second tuner. You will have to split the signal coming in from cable/sat and run one to the VCR and 1 to the tv then you should be able to set te pip.

I have a 37" Vizio HDTV attached to my 8800GT graphics card on my computer via an HDMI Cable (through a DVI/HDMI converter) and the only option I have in the NVIDIA display manager and on the Windows Display Settings is "Clone Mode" in which both screens show the same screen. How do I change it to extended desktop mode?

all hdmi cables are basically the same. they tell people that the more expensive ones are better and what not but that isnt necessarily true. if you buy one with gold then woo hoo good for you. its not gonna be different. the main think you need to look for is the thickness of it. the thicker it is the less resistance there will be therefore giving you a better picture and better quality sound.
my new tv with my Logitech Z-5500 hooked up threw Optical Cable on the back of my tv u can also plug it into your 360 if u want to i had the music effect on the 5500 set to music so all speakers were on i love the sound

First, LCDs have soft plastic screens. They are easily scratched and a variety of chemicals will damage them.
Some also have special coatings on the screen that are easily damaged
Use only a very soft cloth on them-no paper towels.
Second-no Windex or other cleaners.
Most manufacturers recommend either a soft dry cloth or one that is slightly moistened with water.
Read your manual. If you use anything except what they recommend, kiss your warranty goodbye.
The other poster's alcohol recommendation is generally valid, but I wouldn't use it except in the case of something out of the ordinary getting onto your screen.
Got my 32 inch 1080p VIZIO HDTV on Christmas, and hooked it up to the PC to give it a swirl. I am cloning (basically what you see on your monitor is what you see on your tv) the image from my 22 inch SCEPTRE monitor at 1920x1080 resolution. This is ing unbelievable, and whoever spends $2000 on an 32 inch MONITOR is a ing dumbass, because you can get a good sized HDTV at a pretty reasonable price.
