Yeah, I am biased toward my Panasonic, but the reality is that the VGA CRT screen deliver less lag, though, the Panasonic deliver quite a strong performance due that the difference is incredible small & you can't notice the lag when you play in whatever output & mode.
Mr Deap education about HDTV lag issue from gamer who have trouble to figure that the spec of the manifacturer won't reveal how much the TV lag because they think the Millisecond rate displayed on the box represent how much it lag when it have nothing to do with it since the respond time represent how the panel crystal perform when it goes to white to black or grey to grey so it won't deliver ghosting & have nothing to do with the lag.
