When I start to play some of my playstation 1 games i'll start up the system and it'll be fine, the logo and such. Although once the actual game starts up the game starts to flicker the screen and it's constant. It's very annoying and I dont know what to do in order to fix it.
I have a JVC dvd recorder/ vcr combo unit, hooked to new hp hdtv. Using the red/yellow/white plugs it works ok. If we plug in the s-cable, the TV will not play any VHS tapes. I have cable, hooked from wall to combo unit, then the three colored plugs to the tv (have an s-cable but it is now unplugged) Any suggestions?
hey i just got a dvd recorder not long ago, some time this year.....anyway i just followed the instructions that came with the tv and with the recorder and after a few tries it turned out, sometimes u may have to rearrange the cords.
if you still have trouble get someone that knows about that stuff to help you =]

Konklusjonen er vel at mitt gamle ( 1,5 år ) HDD camera eveio gz mg 135( JVC ) fortsatt er best til Youtube.De fleste av mine 1400 filmer på tuben er tatt opp med jvc en. Men ting forandrer seg fort fortiden 
Men til hjemmebruk med egen hd brenner oh hd tv osv er HG 20 suveren

I have a JVC DVD player with the BLUE, GREEN, RED Component outputs. my 27" Insignia HDTV has the Component Inputs for the BLUE, GREEN, & RED too.
But the picture is greenish with no sound. I have the Red & White for sound plugged in with the Yellow cord hanging. So how do I get the picture perfect and the sound to work for the JVC progressive scan DVD player?

When you see brands like this on ebay, remember, they mean FRAUD, SCAM, etc.
And ebaY is "Just a Venue". They care not whether you get scammed or not,
since they make their money no matter what. As you see, the entire site is CRAWLING

Plenty other places have a REAL guarantee.
These troubles have gone unrepaired and mostly unacknowledged by ebay, ever since über-hacker Vladuz "posted pink".

My old jvc television is a normal 24in. I am in the market for a new flat screen wide screen 24in or 26in LCD HDTV for my room. I'm not sure what brand is best and I'm looking for something cheap. I found a tv with these specs for 350 from Olevia. Should I buy this television or is there something better? Not looking to spend more than 450. I don't buy for the brand name I buy for the functionality and reliability.
If you want to replace a 24" 4:3 aspect ratio TV with a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio TV, then in order for the height of the new set to be the same as the old, you'll have to get a 29" set. The sets are measured diagonally. So a widescreen set with the same diagonal size as a standard set will have a much smaller picture. As far as Olevia is concerned, the latest consumers reports has Olevia generally ranked highest among the other second tier sets. Regarding warranty, see the attached comparing various brands warranty and service.

the TV is HDTV ready and i want to know exactly what i have to get to make it play my xbox 360 at either hd level (JVC's I'Art PRO AV32S575) because its capable of 1080i.............i have the AVI HD CABLE but i plug it in to my xbox and turn the tv on and the signal is messed up even after i plug in the right color wires (Blue,Green,Red)........Please help me find a solution even if i have to buy something
First thing to check is if you have "turned on" the HD output setting in the Xbox. After confirming proper alignment of cables on your monitor menu see if you need to enable component video there as well. It is possible that the component inputs on your tv do not work as well but thats what warranties are for. But that should solve your issue.

i am shopping for a HDTV nowadays, but what really get me confused is most LCD HDTVs have only 800-1000 contrast ratio ( such as Toshiba, Panasonic, JVC ) but most Samsung's LCD HDTVs have at least 3000:1 contrast ratio, some go as far as 7000:1, why, is because they have better technology?
The higher the contrast ratio the better the information will appear against a darker background.
Tv's with higher contrast ratios have better picture quality and display black better than tv's with lower contrast ratios.

I own a Sony Bravia and it is amazing. It might cost more than the JVC but it is worth it.

just found out that my tv is an Hdtv, it is a 42 inch JVC its about 6 years old, i plug in the green blue andred wire to the inputs on the back of the tv, they are connected to video 2 I turn it to video 2 and the screen comes up double and then goes to blue, I turned the switch on the cord to hdtv, it still don't work, how do I set it up, I'm on the display screen for the 360 can i get a step by step.
