and my pregnant girlfriend Liina (we didn't find out until months later)!! For food! in HD high definition! (Help!!)
One squirrel sits on my knee - then another starts climbing and clinging to Liina's leg (Liina says "clinjing" - she mispronounces the g as a "j" - she speaks Estonian as a first language)
At one point in this video I have two more squirrels on me - at the same time - one on each of my knees (you can't really see this to well in the video). And then one of the squirrels climbs up my body onto my shoulder and puts his nose in my ear - I was pretty startled and frightened at that point because they move so fast!
At some point in the video there are at least three beautiful birds and FIVE squirrels surrounding us - within a couple yard radius! These animals are obviously hand fed food way too often - either that or perhaps there is some kind of trouble - maybe the seals or rabies or something else entirely - that is causing thier unprecedented behavior. (As my friend said: "Usually they scatter...")
You can see the elephant seals in a couple of the frames - I am trying to say in the video that perhaps all the attention that the elephant seals get made these animals jealous thereby explaining the unbelievably friendly and attention seeking behavior of these squirrels - and birds for that matter (we thought maybe all animals in heavenly California were like this).
Squirrels are generally clever and persistent animals. In residential neighborhoods, they are notorious for eating out of bird feeders, digging in planting pots and flower beds to pull out bulbs which they chew on or to either bury or recover seeds and nuts and for inhabiting sheltered areas including attics and basements. Squirrels use their keen sense of smell to locate buried nuts and can dig extensive holes in the process. Birds, especially crows, will watch a squirrel bury a nut and will dig it up as soon as the squirrel leaves. Although expert climbers, and primarily arboreal, squirrels also thrive in urban environments.

Squirrels are sometimes considered pests because of their propensity to chew on various edible and inedible objects. This characteristic trait aids in maintaining sharp teeth, and because their teeth grow continuously, prevents over-growth. Homeowners in areas with a heavy squirrel population must keep attics and basements carefully sealed to prevent property damage caused by nesting squirrels. A squirrel nest is called a "drey". Some homeowners resort to more interesting ways of dealing with this problem, such as collecting and planting fur from pets such as domestic cats and dogs in attics. This fur will indicate to nesting squirrels that a potential predator roams and will encourage evacuation. Fake owls and scarecrows are generally ignored by the animals, and the best way to prevent chewing on an object is to coat it with something to make it undesirable: for instance a soft cloth or chili pepper paste or powder. Squirrel trapping is also practiced to remove them from residential areas. However, otherwise squirrels are safe neighbors that pose almost zero risk of transmitting rabies.
Squirrels can be trained to be hand-fed. Because they are able to cache surplus food, they will take as much food as is available. Squirrels living in parks and campuses in cities have learned that humans are typically a ready source of food. Squirrels are occasionally kept as household pets, provided they are selected young enough and are hand raised in a proper fashion. They can be taught to do tricks, and are said to be as intelligent as dogs in their ability to learn behaviors. In these cases, a large cage and a balanced diet with good variety will keep a pet squirrel healthy and happy. As a pet, the owner must be aware of "spring fever" at which time a female pet squirrel will become very defensive of her cage, thinking of it as her nest, and will become somewhat aggressive to defend the area.
Squirrels are often the cause of power outages. They can readily climb a power pole and crawl across a power line. The animals will climb onto transformers or capacitors looking for food. If they touch a high voltage conductor and a grounded portion of the device at the same time, they are then electrocuted and cause a short circuit that shuts down equipment. Squirrels have brought down the high-tech NASDAQ stock market twice and were responsible for a spate of power outages at the University of Alabama. To sharpen their teeth they will often chew on tree branches or even the occasional live power line. Rubber plates (squirrel guards) are sometimes used to prevent access to these facilities.

Defending champions Ferrari this morning unveiled its 2009 challenger to the media ahead of a scheduled test later today at Mugello.
Ditching the recent numbering system, the new 2009 Ferrari has been dubbed the F60, the 60th year of Formula One competition for the team, and was shortly afterwards shaken down by Felipe Massa at the teams test track.
The car, initially dubbed the 660 during the design process, conforms to the 2009 regulations and features numerous innovations.
"The choice is very simple," explained team boss Stefano Domenicali with reference to the designated name for the new car. "We wanted a way to recognise the fact that the history... that Ferrari has always been connected in the presence of Formula One. So this is the 60th championship of the F1 and this is the 60th time that Ferrari is here in Formula One."
"So that is the history and hopefully that will be future together with Ferrari in Formula One," he added.
As far as aerodynamics are concerned the modifications are a result of the Overtaking Working Group set up by the FIA in collaboration with the teams to produce a set of rules aimed at encouraging more overtaking.
The front wing, which has a neutral profile common to all, is developed mainly on its side elements and is much wider than in the past.
The bodywork can no longer carry the slotted apertures that were so common in recent times while other aerodynamic devices are significantly reduced.
The rear wing is higher and narrower than in the past; the diffuser has been moved rearward.
The combination of changes led the initial design phase down a radically different route when it came to the sidepods and protection components. The apertures have been reduced in size and moved rearwards while the upper and rear elements are larger to aid the exit of the air.
The new rules regarding aerodynamics have also led to modifications to the suspension and the whole layout of the car has been redesigned in light of the new rules and to achieve a balanced weight distribution.
The design also takes into account two other significant changes to the regulations namely the option to use Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems and the re-introduction of slick tyres to the past.
KERS on the F60 has been designed by Magneti Marelli and is centrally mounted on the engine under the rear part of the chassis. The slick tyre rules is also down to the work of the OWG, as is the introduction of a flap on the front wing that can be adjusted by the driver when the car is in motion. The software for managing this tool, as well as KERS, was designed in Maranello.

The transmission has been redesigned to optimise the aerodynamic efficiency of the car and the casing is again carbon fibre and it is still positioned longitudinally.
There is also a new braking system designed by Brembo. As far as the engine is concerned, it remains a load baring structure and the rules now state that just eight engines may be used over the 17 Grand Prix weekends.
Accordingly, the maximum permitted engine speed has been reduced to 18,000 RPM and the distance target for each unit has been increased to 2,500 KM. Modifications have been made to the inlet trumpets, the position of the injectors and the configuration of the exhaust.
95 minutes after the launch of the F60, the 056 V8 engine fired up for the first time in public as the team conducted the first shakedown lap of the new machine. The team plans longer runs as the day progresses.

I bought an xbox 360 controller at a pawnshop today. But there was a ps3 there that's broken and they are letting it go as is. I plugged a power cord in and it turns on and shows the green light. They told me that it doesnt display anything when plugged into a tv. The ps3 seems fine. What could be wrong with it? Should i go ahead and get it and try to fix it? it's only 120$. Maybe the display's set to HDTV. anyway I can test it to determine whats wrong with it?
Well you can try, it could just be the actual wire which is used to connect the ps3 to the tv which could be broken or like you said the settings could be wrong.

The basics of Blood Money are similar to past entries in the series; each mission is framed around the killings of one or more individuals, which the player character (Agent 47) must accomplish. Standing between him and success are armed guards, security checkpoints and other obstacles. The player guides 47 through the game's levels with the help of a satellite map which can be accessed at any time. The map indicates the layout of each topographical area of the level, the whereabouts of 47's main targets, and other CPU-controlled characters. In order to carry out his mission, 47 may use any method at his disposal to eliminate his targets, regardless of witnesses or excessive violence done to bystanders. Beyond only rewarding stealth over bloodshed as is traditional in the series, Blood Money includes features that directly penalize the player for making too much 'noise'.
Many new features were introduced to Hitman: Blood Money. These include the capability to climb through more obstacles, improved unarmed combat, the ability to use an NPC as a human shield, improved character animations (face, eyes, etc.), a new game engine and the ability to upgrade weapons and equipment. However, only five of the featured weapons in the game, as well as orted pieces of equipment such as bombs and armor, can be upgraded. Every level contains some sort of method to make the target's death look like an accident; for example, tampering with someone's grill to make it explode when it is turned on, rigging a chandelier to fall on a target, or having the target 'accidentally' fall off a balcony. There are also improvised weapons, such as nailguns, a children's air rifle, kitchen knives, screwdrivers, stiletto blades, cane swords, fire extinguishers and even a pair of hedge clippers.
A gameplay feature new to the Hitman series was also added, the "Notoriety" system. If the player, during a mission, kills innocents or civilians, gets caught on CCTV or is witnessed committing murder, Agent 47's notoriety will rise. Conversely, if the player executes the mission perfectly with none of the aforementioned events occurring, 47's notoriety will be minimal. The higher Agent 47's notoriety is, the easier it will be for NPCs to identify him. Players may use the bribery system to negate accumulated notoriety. The notoriety system is not enabled in "Rookie" mode, which also allows unlimited saves and a lower level of general difficulty.

I just bought a Nintendo GameCube for my son (who is a die-hard Legend of Zelda fan) for Christmas. Even though I originally intended to buy him a Nintendo Wii, well you know the scoop on that problem. So I bought him a GameCube. The problem is since I bought it second hand from GameStop, I figured it would be wise to check to make sure everything works and can be viewed on our 1080P HDTV before Christmas gets here (no unhappy face). Turns out everything works, but the picture is slightly blurry, as is movement. I found out that I got one of the older versions of the Nintendo GameCube that has a digital component AV port before the feature was discontinued in 2004 and that it can be formatted in progressive scan, but I'm having an unbelievable hard time finding a digital component AV cable that is compatible with the GameCube and though I might be able to compromise by using a Wii digital component cable instead. So, I seek your wisdom and I thank you in advance for you help.
No, I don't believe you can. Will your son notice those kinds of things though? Anyway, I'm not sure where you'll find a Wii AV cable.

You cannot use a Wii component cable for the Gamecube. Nintendo changed the connector with the release of the Wii.
